hi, proud new owner of an 07 zx14
found after looking for 9 months.
awesome bike. silky smooth.
i had an 07 busa years back and there is no comparison.
i cant believe how quiet the engine on the 14 is.
im used to cam chain, clutch basket chatter.
i doubt ill be riding my 990smr much this year :)
thanks for having me. any tips, tricks would be welcome.

Congratulations !! Have fun and be safe. I'm envious of you in Alberta after I'm riding in Ohio . Must be beautiful . But, what is the riding season ? Couple ,three weeks ? lol

thanks still trying to figure out profile cant upload an avatar but?
i am super stoked with my 14. took me over 9 months on kijiji and trader.ca to find the one i wanted to own.
plus over 3000kms driving from edmonton to ctown.
a lot of used bikes in alberta have had tip overs. im thinking cause of pea gravel.
i have had gixxers my whole life from 85 and on. always had to have the craziest shit riding.
ended up with a new busa in 07. i currently own a 2011 990smr which wont see many miles now
i really love the 14. black 07 mint 3600kms. its me to a t.
just a great bike. im thinking of keeping it stock but adding a laser shifter and detector,
i cant justify modding the bike i doubt very few people can outride its capabilty,
thanks for having me. hope i can contribute.

I bought a 06 with 6000 miles on it and paid $6500 is that too much?
