2008 used with 2200 miles and my 1st so called sport bike. 1st ride let me know that my belly was way to round and made my arms short. Genmars and ThrottleMeister made it better but not quite what I wanted so up on the lift and start ordering parts.
Start with the LSL bar kit then the inserts for the ThrottleMeister then order SS 4 in 8mmX1.25 allen head bolts for the inserts. Add a couple lazy evenings and that is done.
Next was the TRE-008 and adjustable ignition advancer set at 4 degrees which was much easier than expected.
Last was putting an 06/07 factory header with a Scorpion slip on for the right side only. Left exit at the hearder is capped off so now it is a complete catless system.
Almost forgot the Buell foot pegs install. Make the pinholes in the pegs bigger and there you are.
!st ride was today and man what a difference. I am close to having it converted into cruzerism. Yes it is fairly comfy and runs lotsa lots better. The bottom end lag is pretty much gone which means it has go under 5 grand. The interstate is fun world until you pass a cop then shut down quick just so he lights you up but speaker says slow it down then passes me. I got lucky so I guessed he thought it was funny watching me try to shut down to late.
Last to do will be sending the seat to Spencer in Florida, gps mount and an external plug outlet to run power for the tire pump and tank bag.
Yep I am starting to like this bike.
