Purchased my 09 zx 14 lowered.lower links are 3 hole on middle now.front tubes are close to flush with top of 3/4" risers top of stock triple. Perfect stance front to rear.
Chances are springs were changed? Is this what guys are doin?

The front was often considered too mushy. Many people tried various mods to make it stiffer and more compliant. Replacing internals was not uncommon.
