zx 14 'bucket list' ?
02/21/11 2:35 AM

Bean's reference to a 'bucket list' got me thinking!
id say im always thinking ahead regarding things to do, a kind of subconscious 'to do' lister so to speak.
when it comes to my bike im no different, probably worse actually!
i think ive done alot on my bike already but still have some things on my zx14 'bucket list', is this normal?
or do i have a condition?

btw, my list* so far...
1. the cannonball run
2. ride to morocco (bikes already been to 2 continents excluding where it was made)
3. ride the nurburgring
4. 200mph
5. ride in australia
6. ..and if i do the one above i might just have to go on to japan and bring the bike back to its birthplace!

*note: the list is NOT a contract, it is NOT binding and can be changed at any time! other terms and conditions may apply!

good luck Bean, hopefully you'll be riding by the time i gt to australia on my list?!

No condition, jafo... we're all a bunch of sick f*ckers.

Take a superbike racing course

Travel across the mtns on a zx14

Reach top speed on the bike in a closed course

fr8flyer, what type of WMD's are those? I know I've seen them on military channel, Dogfights or one of those shows?
I've definitely got race school on my list as well. Took a fundamental course back in the late 90's, but they never let us cut loose and try racing one another - just technique's and how to apply them. I plan to earn my amatuer license eventually.....someday......when time and financial stars align:D

I'd definitely like to join the 200mph club at either Maxton or Texas Mile - got to be a rush for sure to go flat out without worry of being arrested.

Smokey Mountains look promising to me, I can ride the Appalachian's without much travel time - but I'd rather see the west.

jafo and Hellmut I bought this bike and with the idea of riding on weekend trips through the smokey mountains as they are so close to me in Kentucky. After a vacation out to a bluegrass festival in Telluride CO last summer I can add the rocky mountains also.

the pic is of a A7D dropping snake eye MK82, the snake eye and airbags are used to allow dropping the ordinance at a low altitude and still provide time for arming of the bomb fuze and separation from the frag pattern. We would drop them from as low as 100 feet, the airbag would deploy slowing the bomb down dramatically. Much different then the high altitude release of say slick MK84s
