Some of you may remember from the old forum, I had Brock Hindle custom make slip-ons for my 14. He (Brock, not Hindle) later e-mailed and told that mine were the only pair of slip-ons he'd ever build for the 14 (Yes mine were megaphone, but this are pretty damn close). Looks like he didn't tell me the truth! I'm really just joking. I don't care. The only reason I bring it up is, the Brock Hindle slip-ons may be the best exhaust I've ever owned. Brock was great to work with and the quality is second to NONE! I paid a little more then this (about $1100.00), but they had a LOT better quality build than any (Vance & Hines, Muzzy just to name two) others I've ever owned. The finish was perfect, the fit was spot on, the quality was perfect. I, like a lot of you, have owned many systems. These are the best. So thank you Mr Brock, I hope you sell a lot of them.

Very nice. Since getting aftermarket exhaust on my R1 a long time ago, I've been sceptical about going aftermarket with my ZX14. Stock ones are just so nice and quiet when it comes to longer rides.

select20, These are not the quietist in the world. But they're not the loudest either. They've got a nice low rubble. They sounded great.

Last winter(07/08) my bike was the model for the slip-ons,she spent the winter at Hindles,as far as I'm concerned Hindle/Brock exhaust systems are the best out there

Here is a true blue, C.R. Axtell designed meg off maybe a, KR's Yamaha? I think C.R. was the dirt track tuner guy for the Ascot gang. I went to his place about 1984 looking for megs for a H-D. I saw him take them off a KR's looking Yamaha dirt tracker on a dyno and he goes, here, take these, I am having more made. I just needed a set for the bike at the time and he had more coming and what did I care if they were used. This is the cut of a true megaphone look or design.

I have to talk the kid into the this setup or he is going to wake up car alarms. That oval meg of Brock's is tear dropped is just one more pull contour on a circle or a bubble [cut it in half is a sphere].

I think I need to jump in here and say something...

We have spent some of our resources recently on adding two new features to the forum that we thought would be useful: the "Show New Messages" feature and the "Private Messages" feature. Each of these tasks required more than 15 hours of high-level programming time. Our normal charge for programming time is $110/hour. So you can see that some not insignificant resources have been invested in this forum in the past few weeks -- resources that could have been spent generating income.

The next task that I was preparing to undertake is to add a "polling" or "survey" function, so that members could put up polls/surveys on any subject that they might choose, and members could "vote" on the subject at hand.

Frankly, I'm not inclined to invest further resources in the forums if this nastiness continues, as this kind of a "neighborhood" is not what I envisioned when I set the thing up. -bg

I read the entire thread Bud and you are 100% right, you didn't do anything wrong right up until the time you took 1Bad's bait. We knew this would happen when we gave him the green light, that's our fault. Just take the high road from now on and ignore him or we all stand to lose. All of us come here to relax, have a little fun and talk about our bikes and it's OK to take a good natured jab at each other but let's stay cool and not cross the line. Just my thoughts!
