Bad you have me lost and I never claimed to be the brightest bean in a fart can so would 11:50 be fast for me or slow for the bike?

Would I go faster with a different map?

Would I go faster with no PC and a header?

Would I go faster if I hated Jeff Ivan and Brock?

Why do some bikes with the same tune have different times/mph with different riders?

Why does a 60 ft time mean so much when you still have 1260 ft to go?

Will a 250 lb rider be automatically slower than a 150 lb rider?

If the scoot would barely float the front in stock form but will not stay on the ground with a map (anybodies) has it lost its edge from being stock?

If we are happy with what we have does it really matter?

Last but not least is all anyof the Jeffo mappers are saying is it was an improvement over what we had no matter how he came up with his map making.

Please pardon us stupid people for liking to play with out toys unprofessionally.

Thanks -- Bobby

Personally i don't think you can even get down the track at all ..

Why does a 60 ft time mean so much when you still have 1260 ft to go?

when your just launching down the track that 60ft don't mean nothing .. MPH IS CONSTANT WITH HP THO ..

Hi Hub, the bike is running really good and that was in 98 degree heat last nite at bike nite. I was having some fun or at least it was fun to me.
When I 1st started making changes in the bike I did the TRE, slip on and an adjustable advancer at the same time so I do not know which made all the difference or if was two of what I did or all 3. I will probably for shit and grins disable the TRE to see if it kills anything performance wise and at least get to see my gear selector work again.

But before that happens it is gonna have to get cooler outside because the gayrage is to damn hot.

Mr. Bad I have 6 forward gears and one of them has got to find its way to the end of the track.

So you are saying if I pull a crappy time it is because I did not use all the HP the bike had???????????

Mr. Bad please do not make this to much fun for me.

... ET ,Time whatever you want to call it .. you can launch and stall the bike and run a 16.50 @139mph or you can 60ft a 1.38 60ft and run a 9.50 @138mph .. thing is MPH stays consistent with HP it doesn't jump like ET does ... AND YES YOU CAN GET LESS MPH ON LOWER ET'S being your on the track a less amount of time to cover the same real estate as a bad pass WHERE YOUR ON THE TRACK LONGER..

MPH is consistent to HP

Actually the 12:98 was on the wifes old 1986 ZL600. Both my ZRX's find mid 10's but not even close to consistant and the 14 has never been to the track with me on it. The 14 was bought used so I have no idea where it has been. I am content with just riding the 14 and if I want to tear bikes up then that is what my 2 ZRX's are for.

If the local track ever gets a new owner I have to try the wifes Honda 919 out and see what it does.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!So Hubster...yer sayin YOUR bike jumps like the one in the vid at 1:40?

No offense to anyone, but when I say my baby will do 190...I have proof of my speedo hittin 190.Not that it matters...it doesn't.But a stock flyin 14?Ummmmm...okay .Bouncing off a ripple in the road doth not equate to what is being shown in that vid.In fact...WHERE did ANYONE ever loft BOTH wheels on a takeoff?(except on a flipover).Sorry...aint gonna happen. That pic is doctored.Period.Anyone sayin they're liftin both wheels at the same time....

Lytin knows what he's talkin about...anyone running a Jeffo map(except a few)KNOWS what Lytin's talkin about .

The laws of Physics will not allow the rear wheel to leave the ground on a powered takeoff.Neither will the rear suspension.Just sayin.

And I have seen a bike leap off the ground doing a holeshot (front/back) only to fall on the ground directly after that.

I have also seen a few cages that leaped all 4 off the ground on a holeshot with most of them breaking something and going no where.

Wanna know what happens to a 1972 Pinto with a Cleveland and a 5 speed -- snapped axle and drive shaft on the ground. I built a manual shift C4 for it right after that with a 3000 stall. Keep extra clutches and a band handy then later went to a C6 with 1 ton internals.

I've no idea how a bike could possibly get both wheels off the ground....unless...you loaded the suspension front and rear at the same time with the same force...enough force to cause the thing to rebound powerfully enough to actually do that(at a dead stop....not possible).Anyone know how that could happen?Methinks there's some fanciful thinkers here ANYONE....anyone please post a video of a bike leaping off the ground from a standing start...both wheels...same time(or cage for that matter). I'm not talkin about punchin it,then closing the throttle and loading the suspension, then regassing it.Even that wouldn't do it.Yer tire would spin before you ever got anywhere near a liftoff at the back.

I'd say Ricky Gadsen has the best experience with launching....wonder if he's ever popped a two wheel liftoff on ANY motorcycle?

I have 8 different maps for a 14 not much difference from a Brocks or a Muzzy M14 flies out map.

Adjust map on dyno A/F to where you live. Laugh it up but Ivans data logged map was "Smoothest" in the Ozark Mountains.

Not quickest doing roll on's back home at 60 in 2nd. Cost you a 1/2 bike in every gear to be smooth, a little rich..

i quote you this from another member on another forum that did race his bike ..

"this is how it happens"....I guess I musta missed the part at the launch when BOTH wheels leapt off the pavement. This is almost as much fun as the critcizims of Jeffo's maps!First,'it's not possible to have a better performing bike with a Jeffo map'....now...it's "don't you SEE those two wheels leaving the ground?"WHHHEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As Hub would say..."yer killin me Larry!"

I've NO DOUBT that a 14 fitted with wings could actually lift off....I KNOW that could happen. But jumping with both wheels from a dead stop....I don't care if it's got a Merlin turbo for P51's in it....it aint jumping straight up off the deck.

BTW...just fer shits an giggles...anyone KNOW which way lightning travels?Up or down?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As long as it does not tag me I don't care. I have enuf problems now with my hair and I don't need no lytnin strike to make it stand up....................

The bike at the track that we saw that did the hop off the line started with the front/back doing a leap then when the back touched the ground again the bike flipped.

Wanna see somethin wild watch a wheelie bar break on one side during a launch. People scatter fast when the bike heads for the concrete wall doing a sideways flippie.

why don't you get your ass off the computer and go to a race track ... put your bike in 1st gear then rev your bike to 10,000 rpm and let the clutch fly ... take hub with you to film it .. PRICELESS

(I still can't find the part where both wheels are off the ground at the same time when he punches it)

Anyone know which way direct current flows?Anyone know if the clouds are positively charged or the Earth?
