Okay....now...I haven't looked exactly...but....maybe you know...does my 07 header have a cat in it?I heard that the "cats" were in the mufflers on the 07's,06's.It does have that round deal at the rear there, but I think it's unobstructed? If not...what do you think about "removing" a cat if it's in there? With my TiForces on there?

Hub, maybe Jeffo is tuning in the abstract. Starbucks has free WiFi, you could setup there, bring your laptop and cell phone and tune, maybe give Jeffo some competition....and drink $8 coffee.

Hub, I tried to weld the bung on my cat but couldn't find a rod that would stick to his fur.

It sounds like a lot of you guys are very happy with your Jeffo maps...I get that. What I wonder about is jsut how bad your previous maps had to be in order for the Jeffo map to make that much of a difference? I mean there is only one optimum tune for a given engine under given conditions. It gets the right fuel, produces the max power or it doesn't. If now with Jeffo's map these bikes are suddenly ripping arms out of socket, what kind of map did you have in there before? By definition it had to be sub-standard... just thinking out loud here, no hate mail please. Maybe I had a really good map on my CBR1000RR and that's why I was so underwhelmed with Jeffo's map. After the glowing testimonials on that other thread, I was expecting arm straightening power, glassy smooth torque curve and vibration free. What I got was something altogether different, seemed to be flat on response, lost power everywhere, ran hot and so rich at idle I could smell raw gas from the tail pipe. I tried Jeffo, I was one of the first, in fact I started that other thread that's now 18 pages long but I can't go back. Like Monster, fool me once.......

Spending 50.00 on a map by phone is dumb ..But buying 8.00 cups of coffee is plain stupid ..
Hey.. least I get something for my $8. Think about it, 6 cups of delicious, Starbucks Bold for less than 1 Jeffo map.
Kruz, this is advanced tuning. Not phone call tuning. LOL
Hub, can you do advanced phone call tuning?

Spending 50.00 on a map by phone is dumb ..But buying 8.00 cups of coffee is plain stupid ..No yer Wrong kruz ! don't know where ya getting yer information from kruz as my map was sent by "Email" & forgive me about the Computer( Im not real computer Smart LOL) ? So I had to get my 24 year Son to work out how to instal it even though every step (How to Instal) was their with it! But the Phone Calls to Jeffo ! is only for Bros Like Myself !that need assistance with the Instructions or just a tweek if their needs a bit of adjustment mate, Hey kruz yes 99% of us are 100% happy about Jeffo's maps, like I stated before ! but my bike was good enough @ 164 rwhp on the Dyno but when I got ridden of the Cat from the Header my Jeffo map got installed then the next Day my mate test rode her & in His words it is Way better than it was before the DYNO @ 164 RWHP was done mate that is 100% Fact!

Bean mate, I'm very happy it worked out well for you, maybe I just got a bad map. I realize that Jeffo sends you the original map file via e-mail, remember, I was the one that found this guy on the internet, started the original thread and was one of the first to send him $50 and try his map. The phone thing is an ongoing joke, if your map doesn't run right, you're supposed to call Jeffo and he magically deciphers what you're saying and sends you a new map that now runs perfect or something like that.

Kruz we are all sorry it did not work for you. I don't know if you were the PC5 guiny pig that went bad or what happened but there is alot more yays than nays on the Jeffo maps. Jeffos map pulled 170 on the dyno with the tuner looking and saying he would have lost a bet on that but was only able to pull 5 more hp out of it with his tune. His tune lost the bottom and middle of the Jeffo map. I put the jeffo map back in and 170 rwhp is ok with me plus I get my play land back.
His maps may not be perfect but it was $50 well spent for me.
He made some sportbike maps for some of the guys around here that were using the generic maps supplied with their PC and they could not believe the difference.

Why yes I can, Kruz. I can call, see if that bemmer 1000 comes with a stock map to kick all your ass is!
Hub, the BMW S1000RR with a Dynotronics reflash is laying down 184 rear wheel Hp while the '11 ZX-10R is at 182 rear wheel with the same reflash. This came from the owner of Dynotronics himself, the 10r is right there with the Beemer and 20 lbs lighter to boot.
I get tired of all of these stupid magazine hacks talking about how uberpowerful the Beemer is when the 10r is right with it.

Well Lytnin, I'm certainly glad there are so many out there pleased with their Jeffo tunes, it just wasn't my experience. I paid my $50 and gave it a shot and no bueno. I had the Fuel Moto map on there before the Jeffo map and apparently that was a good map already. BTW the PC5 guy was Monster 14.

it just amazes me all this power from his customers but yet from jeffo's own testing and a best of 139mph with a light weight rider is sad ..i guess there a reason why jeffo bikes stay off the race track .

Dogo, it's time for you to try a Jeffo map...seriously. Being somewhat of a sceptic, you're the perfect candidate for an unbiased review. I've already tried a Jeffo map and was disappointed so there is no point in me going there again. You probably already have a decent map loaded into your PC, let's see if Jeffo can improve your tune over the phone. If you say his maps are good, I'm going to shutup.....deal?

Sorry to all you guessers,I hadn't had the time to post, but here it is Mikes best ET time was 10:26 @134 MPH,he was running most of the nite 10:30's to 10;50's at around 137 to 139 MPH.We made changes to the Map during the nite, his last pass was a 10:38 @ 138 MPH.The biggest problem we had was the bike makes such great power that it was still coming up in 3rd gear, next time we'll have to strapp the front maybe use a lowering link or swing-arm extention.Mike said he was only using about 75% of the throttle, trust me he is a Great Rider and his bike is Very Fast.By the way we had a Great Time.We should have some Pictures, and a Video on my site sometime soon. Thanks for your interest. jeffo

this is why i take issues to peak hp numbers from a jeffo map plus what i seen at the track .. but at least he was honest on his times

Dang Hub, that would be fun to kruz the autobahn at about 240-250 mph on that thing. Does he have a Jeffo map?

So lets say I run the 1/4 and best is 11:50 - would that mean that jeffos map is junk or Fat Boy Bobby is just a shitty rider?
Hub I cannot argue good or bad with you because my knowledge compaired to yours would make a manic depressive laff themselves to death. While I can do a few things with my hands to the bike I understand little except what the butt dyno tells me.
When I 1st got the bike the front did not lift until 8 grand and my 1st thought was what a POS. Wifies 919 would kick it ass in the 1st 2 gears. It was flat out embarrassing to ride. I put on the one you love to hate (Ivan) TRE that does not need a map and adjustable advancer set at +4 degrees. The bike made a major transition and was more fun. Later the PC5 was added from Fuel Moto with on of the 5 maps sent with it. Big difference and now the bike is starting to scare me.
Called jeffo and tald for 20 minutes about what I had and what I want. I did not care about top end and wanted bottom and mid. Jeffo made one and emailed it to me.The bike picked up in the spots I had talked about and still scares me in the upper rpm range.
I don't know or understand characters and values and gummygoblets and most of the things you talk about even when you put them into easy language how ever my butt dyno tells me I should be happy. I am a hot dogger and not a racer.
Kruz sorry about getting you mixed up with Monster14.
I would like to try a Brock and Ivans map for the hell of it but I am not a rich rich man to just keep buying maps.
Later guys and Hub I really wish I was smart enuf to have a conversation with you about fuel injection stuff. After I read some of these conversations I grasp a little but still confusing.

See your to track tuning stupid to understand that the ET meant nothing but the riders skill which was average at best for what he was riding .. the MPH tells the HP of a bike. but yet you and others want to argue your point that its a better map than stock on peak HP ..
