just picked up a 2013 black and green yesterday more for touring with the wife than the sport side of it.
my name is brian i have been riding since the early 70s,married with 2 kids and 46 years old.
current bike is an 09 buell.future purchase will be the ktm super duke 1290
first mods planned are taller windscreen,bar risers,drop pegs and corbin seat.

i have a couple of questions i'll post here before digging up older threads.
whats the tallest windscreen available?
options for drop passenger pegs?
are there any problems with the lsl bar kit as far as cable and line fitment?

Welcome to the forum Brian! There are plenty here with the mods you are asking about and I'm sure it won't take long for them to post answers. Lots of good help and info here.

Look for a thread in General zx 14 called rear pegs, or lowered rear pegs. Piug I think is the tallest out there, I have a zero gravity, their good, but I think Piug double bubble touring is the tallest they come.

thanks for the warm welcome.
i ordered the genmar risers,zg dark smoke st windscreen,some softer grips and the corbin drop peg kit.
once i get the peg kit on there i'll pull 2 inch drop pegs off my buell and see if theres any clearance issues.
looks like Knight Design is making 2 inch drop pegs for the zx-14 but they are not sure if there are clearance issues.
as far as passenger pegs go it looks like its fab your own.

Just picked up 2013 Black SE 14 w ABS and working my way through break in. Troy IL My other bike is a HD 2007 Road King. My golf buddies wanted to know if I had a death wish. I'm 58 and I said no, a life wish. Last Kawasaki was 82 GPZ1100. This bike is really nice to ride. Pics and mods to come. JMP in Woodriver IL. Did me right ,thanks.
