2nd of The T-Shirt Project?
11/08/13 4:38 AM

Ok I have a story tell. A long time ago, long, long, long time ago when I joined this forum I tried to come up with a shirt for the forum I thought it was cool design but there were a few members who did not like it an what I've learned is you just can't please everybody. No big deal!

So after talking to a few people an showing the designs I'm thinking about bringing them back to life but with some changes to them but maybe not so I'm asking my fellow members to help me out.

The 1st. Gen shirts said. "Owners Club" an the website. So I'm looking to change the wording on the shirt. So what I'm looking for is a NEW SAYING that would work for whatever forum you like the best or should I keep it for this forum?

What should I do? Let me know what you got give me your best saying..

Thanks you in Advance...

An expression I've seen many members use is... "IT'S HARD TO BE HUMBLE"

How about... arched across the top... ZX14 MC
A nice semi sillouette graphic of the bike in the center
and arched below... a black diamond^ EXPERTS ONLY

Some great saying here but I'm thinking something more Universal that could work form East to West like the following.

1. ZX14 Motorcycle Club
2. ZX14 Owners Club
3. "The Nation" already taken
4. ZX14 University

Something like these

By the way MC stands for Motorcycle Club...
Although this isn't actually a club, it's universally used on most "colors."
This is a bunch of guys shooting the shit. I think we're all possessed.
When I see another bike in the rear view, I usually make sure he never catches up to me. I'd say a descriptive phrase might be "Dusters!"

Love the T idea.
Want one.

MC is especially in the states is a guarded bastion. An local MC seeing someone rocking the T, might be very interested in discussing the merits of the shirt. Rightfully so as MC's have certain area's of influence and political stake. I would recommend an RC insignia to side step the possibility of MC offence.

I had an opportunity to discuss our 14 Nation Club patch with some very descent H and A MC riders up here. Once explained they seemed right cool. I also told em, I pulled over as a courtesy and out of respect. As I clearly could have disappeared as I launched with afterburners lit. They had a good laugh and extended a healthy respect. That said if I rocked the MC designation the outcome would been different.

Why in Canada does the mc have what would seem to me so much control, they do know other clubs exist besides them rite? just a question.

I can't answer that, there is a large H and A syndicate up here. Keswick and schomburg. Their presence is felt. I don't think they take kindly to other MC's in their controlled area. RC's I think may from time to time interest them. I think because out patch was black and white and because there is an MC up here that flies a black and white skull they wanted to know who I was! Like I said, when they flagged me over, I pulled to the side to show respect and have an eyeball to eyeball talk. Seemed to be very respectable fellows. They weren't rude they just wanted to know who I was flagging a patch in their territory. They did joke that I selected the "wrong ride" and "wrong club," but I was not offended. Told em we are a straight RC and into slant bikes, and even though I owned an HD, once upon a time, I'm not happy unless my hair is on fire and afterburners are lit!

There really is no rival gang that can match them up here, and I assume they are confident in their control of the area. In their defense I was in front and then I fell back behind them and joined the staggered formation. Was just thinking about not attracting popo and traffic was thick. They probs were like who is this freak on a 14r following us?

Allz good

We are just talkiing about a T shirt, not a patch. Of course you never know what to expect from a 2%er. I don't get concerned about what others think. Around here we have Grandpas MC Club, and Boozefighters, and Jeasus'choppers, and....
I've never let a group of potato bikes come on me from behind anyway. I have a major problem with being passed. I've always had it, which is why I love this bike so much. Back to Hard To Be Humble.

Yes sir, love the T-shirt Idea Sharkey! Print one for me, I say! As stated above.

I was attempting to offer perspective on an experience. As for the gasser slow Harley thing, yes sir I mentioned a few times I pulled to the side just to see what was up, as a respect gesture. We were in a crawl with lots of traffic. Plus I was interested to know what they might want to explore.

But yup, around here the MC designation is cause for conflict, not like anyone is worried, but just offering a heads up.

Oh we have the ole farts groups too!

Last point, and totally not directed at any posts in particular, or posters, but please feel at liberty to ride wearing a Mongols T with the MC designation in the great San Fernando Valley without issues. It is afterall just a T shirt.

Point taken. I have many friends who are 2%ers, cause I was one myself. Never affiliated because I'm too independent. Mutual respect cause I don't get intimidated easily, and I walk tall. But I wouldn't wear a red headband in East LA either...

Back to the subject, I like long sleeve black Tees!

Thanks for everyone's help...

Ill just run with "owners Club" it's more Universal for all like it was stated its not a patch it's just a shirt.

Now should I put this website on the sleeve of the shirt?

ZX14 and a ZX14R Owners Club. Black with website printed on the sleeve. That's my vote.
