Good report. Glad you are happy with the 14. What did all the FJR guys tell you about it?

I think it really stands out in this pic.

I owned an 2007 FJR briefly before my ZX-14, overall a pretty good Sport Tourer. I know comfort is very subjective but for me the ZX-14 is at least twice as comfortable as my former FJR. I still have some friends that ride and love them but the O.E. seat is almost universally complained about. For me anything over a couple hundred miles was painful.

Theres always room for improvement but overall I'm satisfied with the comfort of the stock seat on my 14.It could use a little foam carved away where it pushes the inside of your thighs. Some guys have purchased Connie 14 seats that are supposed to be very cushy.

I'm almost 40 and I do 500 - 600 mile Sunday rides consistently throughout the short Midwest season. My 14 has 21,000 miles on it now and seat has gotten pretty soft so if you think your going to keep it for a while I would get a custom seat.
