So since I've had the bike, I've wanted to do something with the chrome backgrounds inside the turn signal lamps but never got around to it. With advice on materials and how to from fatsix and my own knowledge I was able to finally do this cheap really cool looking (in my opinion) mod. Blacked out all the turn signals and the tail lamp which was kind of a pain in the butt. here are the results!!

That is freaking sweet!!!! I like that way better than the tinted lens, just cool!!

Thanks casper. They stand out more than I thought. Most people cant place what's different about the bike unless I tell them. I think it's one of those small mods that makes a huge difference. And cheap!! $5.00 lol

I was planning the same mod on mine but with tinted lenses also. I gotta ask though..... how the hell did you manage to get the lens off the base of the tail light without snapping it? They're glued together pretty well.

Thanks sweet. I love the look of the bike now. It makes a huge difference to me. I got a pick and a razor knife and just dug it out basically. Only on the bottom and the sides though. I got a fremel tool and cut the top off. If I had to do it again I'd use a dremel on the whole thing though. With some help from Fatsix, the whole job was pretty easy, just tedious. I'm about to post some night time pics.
