Sorry no pics. Rode into work as usual, 30 miles into Denver. Took the afternoon off to take a long way home.
From Denver Westward into the hills, to Pine Junction on 285 (perfect sweepers but lots of cops) then down through Deckers to Woodland Park, about 90 miles of scenic medium twisties. Then to Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods road, then North on the highway home in the nick of time before rush hour traffic.
All told, 202 miles, about half on secondary roads, 3.6 hours which means average speed of 57mph, and I stopped for three short breaks.
I was pushing my luck with the popo the entire time but hardly touched on the capabilities of this beautiful machine. A fine afternoon playing hooky.
