I am having the bike tuned this weekend and asked for a valve adjustment if necessary. I have 23,000kms and the valves have not been adjusted. What is normal mileage for adjustments.

That's a great idea. I will do that.

I am leaving him my bike for 2 weeks (I am on vacation anyhow) to tune perfectly including a new map. I paid a lot of attention to the bike for the first 5000 kms - getting it the way I wanted it. But after that it ran so well that I just changed the oil every 3500, lube the chain, put on tires and keep moving.

I am kind of thinking of it as a spa time for the bike.
