Busa looks good

A Busa is a nice looking bike. I think it beats the ZX 14 hands down, purely on looks. Comfort not, but it is a fine looking machine. The old as well as the new. It just has a swoopy, predator look about it. Never buy one (well, maybe), but I think is nice. I know ROOK will agree with me. Who else?

I think its safe to say almost everyone on this site could have gotten a Busa if they wanted but didn't. I like the 14 a lot more than a Busa in looks and ride. Nothing wrong with a Busa, I just don't care of them as much as a 14 but opinions are opinions. Its kind of like seeing a guy who thinks his girlfriend is hot but you think she is butt ugly.

I think the Busa looks fugly, period. That's just my opinion. I think the 14 just looks more sinister and that spider head just looks mean - way more predatory than the Busa. Seat is comfy, ride height is perfect, quiet pipes that can be swapped for something much louder, throttle responce is par excellence, etc etc. I could go on and on about the awesomeness of the 14, really. For my needs, the bike is perfect in every way.

Don't really care for the bus. Like already stated I could have bought one when I bought the 14, I got the 14 because I thought it beat the bus on asthetics and comfort. Don't get me wromg I think the bus is a good bike just not my cup of tea in either department.

Biggest problem I have with the Busa is it's a shaker, single crank balancer can't compete with the 14 on smoothness, other than that it's comparable to the 14.

For me they were very comparable, but the 14 drove way smoother, and was more comforatable.... it was a tough choice for sure, I hate the bump or passenger seat cowl.... its fugly....(I know it serves a purpose, but its ugly!!)

I liked both, the deciding factor for me was there is a busa on just about every corner, whereas the 14, well I've only seen a couple and have never rode with another one. We have a local wednesday hangout and three new busa's showed, and my 14 was the only one of it's kind and I REALLY like that!

Busa,I HATE the camel Hump on the back. I could learn to love the nose, But that Hump, yuk. I know wind tunnel Bla Bla Bla, on looks, 14 all the way. I almost bought a BMW 1000RR and only Reason I did go through with it was,,,, I love the 14. The best bike ever built for a wide range of riders. If you ride the track only, 1 litre 4 sure, but if your a streeeeeeet racer to and from work guy, the 14 has got you covered. Tell me I'm wrong.

I've got some seat time on the gen 2 busa, so I can compare and I like the 14 better (no surprises). You can get the busa comfy with the addition of Heli-Bars, but you can't take the slightly higher buzz out of it, and the brakes are another story, do not compare stock per stock. I like the older ones (busa) for looks better, to much going on in the rear end of the new ones. Put HIDS in those projectors of the 14 and you have a lot of candle power for night time missions.

"night time missions"..... I rode my bud's 08-It felt, well, small. Not light mind you, just, small. And twitchy.I couldn't get to feeling "safe" on it.I wasn't impressed with the low end.Cool bike.....just not for me.It did have some vibes.I didn't like the feeling on cornering-felt like it was hitting every imperfection in the road, and the frontend felt like it wanted to skip around. No thanks.

I agree, looks much better than the 14. I feel because of the one piece, smoother main skin.

I owned an '05 Busa and loved the bike. I remember when the zx14 came out I didn't like the look of it, probably because I was Busa owner.

I think the roundness of the front fairing on a Busa is better looking than the flatness of the zx14. Other than that, I like the ram air, lights, fairings, and tail on the zx14 much more than the Busa. My 2 cents...
