This thread really is for wolf, I need to say this because of all the people pulling him in one direction or the other about stretching or gearing his bike, I here to say my part and opinion. First off wolf it's YOUR BIKE so only you can do what makes you happy. Now there really is no reason except for 2 things to stretch this perfect bike from the factory. First off I LOVE the look of it period. I have posted numerous pics of it here so you see what it looks like. Now parking mine next to a regular zx14 imo no comparison all. Even the owners of the regular 14 thinks mine usually looks way more racy and meaner. But I only barley have an 6in stretch and with it slightly lowered I think compared to stock it's not really that close. Now reason number 2 for the stretch. If like most street riders like to race against other bikes from time to time I found against CERTAIN bikes out there you might need a lil help. I choose to gear my bike-1+1. Its perfect for roll ons and just straight up more thrust thru the rpms. Now where my opinion matters more than some here is I ACTUALLY have geared and HAVE stretched my bike out. People will tell you it can't turn it sucks etc.....I thought the samething before I ACTUALLY RODE one. If your not riding in very tight stuff it makes a very small difference. Now back to what I have actually felt and raced. If you plan on never gearing this bike at all and don't like the looks of the streched bike well don't strech it. But if you really want some gearing or need it against some bikes out there then you better strech it a lil. People will say you can control the throttle, well of course you can, but that means holding back the throttle untill you can open it fully, and that's not until 3rd gear with gearing. I will tell you I tried not to strech it at first with the gearing but the new 14r is so powerful with it I couldn't go past half throttle until 3rd gear, in which I lost the race by then. I can also tell you from EXPERIENCE that at my light weight with the work done to my bike that I would have lost th9se races against the bmws without my gearing and strech. With them I had the extra jump I needed and was able to give it full throttle right from the go. But to me I'm very competitive, and without those things I could not fathom losing to a 1000 especially kawasakis own zx10, which alot of you would with some of those riders out there. So wolf there you go, it's up to you at the end, but those are the reasons why you should strech or why you shouldn't.
