The 02 runs under vacuum. 02 does not care what gear it is in. Load stops the 02 from switching from lean to rich. High rpm loads or stuck at wide open throttle [load], the sampling is too fast for the 02, so it shuts off as if in open loop. Sounds like another runner upper internet clown that has no clue about how the car operates is just one more engine with the same FI theories that apply.

If it's still under warranty, that's where I'd take it. If the mechanics can't figure it out, have them send out a factory district rep. The district rep can order a new throttle body rather than someone trying to mickey mouse the fix. Again, if it's something obvious, they find you messed with any broken painted screws like that yellow paint on the idle ramp? You eat the bill. No tampering? Warranty covers it.

WATT did I tell you? Page 3 and not one clown move worked as I kept on explaining step for step don't go there.

I'm having the same problem I was thinking it was my injectors since I found rust in my tank what do you guys think it's just cables because I cleaned the tank it was running good after that then filled up my tank and gas was running out the overflow tube over night lost a little over a half tank please help

What year is the bike? This is an old thread. I missed this one.

Symptoms are WOT or WATT? Falls on its face, does not rev up, hard starting?

Mileage on the bike now is?

Bike sat with low fuel?

Bike sits not coated with fuel is the rust sets in on the tank that is not covered with gas.

Big black canister on the pump can capture the most powdery fluff of rust and will clog this primary filter, not the little pre-filter that can be changed. There is no part number for the primary but to buy a new pump that comes with it.
