Truthfully i didn't have to much done to it. Just a PCIII full exhaust system K&N fileter, extended Swingarm, a little chrome here and there, removed secondary flies, and that was about it. My new one I plan on doing pretty much the same. Really wanted to get some sport bike riding in this year with the fellas because lord knows that 2011 was the season of none riding.

My old 14, loved the bike hated the finance company.

Don't know what I was doing when I took this pic.

my dirty ass garage.

riding the bike down at the Las Vegas Roundup.

One of the many photo shoots the bike was involved in for magazine exposure

Drag, don't you be talking about leaving, your one of my favorite reads on here. We need More folks like you that like to think outside the box, present an opposing view. I like a touch of controversy, makes the place interesting!

ME? leaving? NO way Jose. I'm just too comfortable here! You have to take the good with the bad and as long I get return on my investment I can't complain. I was actually saying that I give up on Green.

I don't find there to be a great deal of dif in the riding position when sitting up. One thing, the busa hump is one of the cool things about it but it doesn't work for long torso guys. My helmet almost touches the windscreen when i tuck.

That hump on there is Suzuki's way of saying...."this is a dragbike first and foremost"..it's not there for aeros or anything else...only for a straightline takeoff with yer ass pushed back into it.Very 'macho"...very gimmiky.(it will however double as a storage box).Whereas the Kawasaki rear piece actually IS designed for aerodynamics.Especially the NEW SEAT....when you take off hard, you feel your arse being pushed into the seat bowl...but not the cowl. The ergos are different on the new bike. They may appear the same just looking at it...but you will notice the difference once you ride it.It(to me) is pleasantly different.More natural feeling actually.Things just seem to 'fit' better on the new bike...ergos-wise.It's very cool. When you DO sit upright, for the cruise or whatever..the seat has a very nice support to it....it kinda 'holds' ya in there without having to like stabilize your torso with your arms. You really CAN relax in any seating position on the new one.

I noticed when I tucked in,the tank feels like it's sitting up about an inch higher. It could be the way the seat is shaped...IDK...but tucking in felt very comfortable with the tank supporting my chest and all.Tucked in like that,I felt "one" with the bike, and the wind blast was non-existent.Sitting up...virtually no windblast either. The fairing shape seems to deflect the wind out to the sides better than my other bike...even with the other windscreens on there. The compact feeling of the new one is kinda hard to explain...but I felt really more in control...that's a poor way to say it...but the reach and all has definitely been addressed.I didn't feel like I was stretching my arms at all to hold the grips, which made the levers feel a lot more usable....another poor way of saying it.I think they did an excellent job of making this bike a real long termer and powerhouse.

This was posted on a Busa site last night by a Busa owner... LOL.

Mannnnnnn, im thinking about selling the Busa and getting a 14! Those things are sweet!

And this is a few things said to him... LMAO

Somebody get this guy off the site!!!

Why would anyone jump ship like that. Apparently you're not a real Busa fan that you claim you are. If you did you research the Kaw stays in the shop with clutch and transmission problems. Along with running hot at the beach. Just because it may produce alittle more horsepower doesn't make it better. Its all about the rider.

AND IT REALLY DON'T PRODUCE A DAM THING AS FAR AS I'M CONCERN.HOW BOUT THAT MUC BUSALOVE TO U

well, although he probably did stir the pot a bit, the 14 isn't a bad bike. I have ridden run and it is the closest thing to busa power out there. Now before all of you jump on a brother, realize I am on my second Busa and I have a R1. I am... a busa fan of course but I also just love riding...with that said, I still think the busa is the king of the road BUT...the 14 for this year does have more power. I will agree most of it is up to the rider but how many actually know how to RIDE a Busa or any bike for that matter to half its potential. I was actually entertaining the thought of getting rid of my busa for a 14 because not many people have them and they have great brakes but...just couldnt do it. Just my two cents.

them 14's do stay in the shop a lot

That is just a few, they ripped this dude like he was string cheese. But truthfully my past 14 was never in the shop unless I was adding something to it. I don't get some of thes guys comments.

What are these guys smokin? Clutch and transmission are almost bulletproof on these things and mine runs cool as a cucumber.
