The way the season ended
03/15/20 8:19 PM

I just realized I did not finish out the years' info.. Got a lil faster and swifter with PBs of 9.408 and 152 mph. I won the Redding track ET Motorcycle championship for 2019 but really, we only had 5 serious racers..Lotta luck for me last year..Hoping for a bigger crew of competitors this year but if not , I will slip back into track days at Thunderhill in Willows California.. It is closer anyway :) Picked up a 2014 Ninja 650 and just finished pulling lights and mirrors for First trackday of teh year..

Here is one of my main competitors. He is on a stretched, 1000 Suzuki with electrics. most of our runs are this close or closer...We have been as close as inches at the stripe. The benefit of being stretched is obvious when you see how far he jumps out on me but then the extra power of teh 14 starts working at teh 1/8 mile .. Redding Drag strip
................ I use Vimeo for videos and cannot recall how to embed.. That is my goal for the next few days :)

It has been "suggested " I remain at home during the present time due to my "advanced age" so I may be posting a lot of stuff :)

One of teh keys to good times is getting teh clutch out as early as possible.. I use the videos to see what and how I am doing ..
Here is run against SteveStretched Suzi 1000..

Doesn't that depend? You're far from sick. Probably not a heart problem or the racing would palpitate your world, I'll assume no drugs, nor lungs, unless you smoke. I think it's pneumonia induced and maybe then if that sets in, you're done. I too am on self lock-down due to the old lady and her asthma. She's a couple years away from 80.

Hub, Newsom just thru out a covers-all that it is suggested for all over 65 stay home but we know that just sets teh stage..As for me....No drugs, no alcohol, no smokes of any kind, no meat, no fish , no fowl..LOL It just bugs teh heck out of me when those who very well could be in poorer health than I am , suggest how I should live etc. I do have cataracts and you should have seen my VA primary care doctor who said that he would like to see my vitamin B12 increased but it MAY be ok because of teh supplements I take daily I would have liked to have seen him at least be able to button all teh buttons on his shirt ..Closest I have came in a long time to getting in some ones face LOL

Now I need something calming .... Maybe show your wife too as flowers are always good rite ?

I have a buddy who's childhood friend became a doctor. Brainiac type with a degree in med and electrical engineering. Told me to zinc up because the virus can't survive with zinc and vitamin D. So I looked up foods with the most zinc. Oysters were 75gm and the next was meat with 3.?gm. Oyster bar anyone? Oh I forgot, no mingling. Supplements or lots of zinc pills takes a toll on the kidney. Vi-D is sunlight, eggs, mushrooms, milk. I'll be pulling weeds in the sun tomorrow for my Vi-D fix. I'm low on Vi-D so I have creamy mushroom omelets and sun. No B12 shots for me, pills, man made supplements... no way. At one time, someone told me I was smart not to take B12 shots. Took a treadmill test and the dr threw me out till next year. Showed up last year and still cut me loose... totally med-free.

Then my nephew's wife tells me that hand cleaner is for germs, soap for viruses. When it gets real bad.. if it does... I'll have my own concoction in a spray bottle:
1/3rd VP race gas.
1/3rd dish washing soap.
1/3rd vinegar.
Spray your hand and then push the door open, high-5 the store greeter with confidence.

Sounds like you have a plan which I am afraid, that a lot of folks do not ..IMHO stupidity is worse today tha COVID-19..Just my opinion as I have no medical training to speak of but my folks pretty much taught their kids that stupid hurts ..
