F.A.I.C. MAPS
09/16/09 11:19 AM

Great maps, Excellent customer service and best of all a great price. His maps eliminate the need to pay hundreds for a dyno. Looking forward to trying one of his exhaust systems in the spring of 2010.

A recap as of 9/23/2009:

Several of us with PC III's have had great results with these maps on our ZX-14s. Monster14 (who bought a map for his ZX-14 and PC V) and Kruz (who bought a map for his Honda literbike and PC III) had terrible results.

F.A.I.C. does not appear to have a satisfaction guarantee and has not offered refunds to these two.

Kruz feels that the Accelerator Pump instructions/settings and the instructions for setting the Throttle Position were worth the $50 he paid. Monster14 is just pissed -- with good reason it appears.

So it looks like if you have a ZX-14 with a PC III, this is a pretty safe bet. If not, you takes your chances. -bg

How could anyone expect a mail order map to be anything more than a gamble. Unless you have your bike there on the dyno with a GOOD tuner you are not getting a properly tuned map for your bike and setup.

What you say makes sense, BUT you might want to keep an eye on this poll. Several of us have taken the gamble and it has paid off BIG TIME. I don't know how he does it, but whatever he does, it works... -bg

"Unless you have your bike there on a dyno with a good tuner you are not getting a properly tuned map for your bike and setup"..................HHmmmmmm....The way mine is running compared to before-well,if it's not "properly tuned" now,I don't think it would be rideable if it was "properly tuned".

I ran a canned map on my 14 (Ivans) and it rocked bigtime. I also run the recommended settings from cobra for the fuel controller on my busa, and it rips, with as clean and crisp of a throttle as you could want. You don't need your bike on a dyno to have a great running bike.

Well, I've just had my second experience with a Jeffo map, and I wanted to report on the results.

Last year, I had stock exhaust and K&N air filter, and told him I usually ride at 4,500 ft or higher elevation. The map I got was great. Raped ape great.

Over the winter, I trashed the stock exhaust and installed a Micron titanium 4-into-1. (I had the pipes black ceramic coated. I also replaced the stock battery with one of the dubious specials.)

I had Jeffo make me a new map and finally got a chance today to take a 150 mile ride. The map is GREAT! And the bike feels SO light after losing all that weight.

I don't know how Jeffo does it. It doesn't make sense that he can do it. But he has nailed it again.

No decel pop. Pleasant "gurgling" sound when throttle is off and motor is slowing the bike. Power is incredible.

+1 on Jeffo's maps, as far as I'm concerned. -bg

I'm going to chime in, I installed Jeffo's map before my trip and the bike is running way better than it did with Brock's track map. Don't get me wrong, the Brock's map kicked ass and took names, but the F.A.I.C. map just rulz.

I got up behind some traffic (cages) this morning and came to a passing zone in 5th gear at like 3,800 rpm, and just opened the throttle all the way and she lept forward like a tigress chasing a gazelle. Flat out amazed me how smoothly and quickly it went from 3,800 to 6,000 rpm.

In short, the bike acts like it lost about 200 pounds.

And the street manners are impeccable. I was staying at the Gettysburg KOA until I got sick and tired of the gravel, and street manners are proven or failed by how a bike motors through thick loose gravel in 1st gear. Not a hitch, she responded to the throttle just as smooth as could be.

And she sounds better when I get on the pipes, too. If you never hear CT-Duals at 8,000 rpm you don't know what you've been missing.

Hey Bill I looked @ & posted Testiments from FAIC about many Types of bikes inc. two CBR100rr's,& I have to say besides me their seems to be a "Massive Majority" that sings the same Praises & Hell mate youed have to be pretty miserly about the Cheap $50 map with a great after paid Service Backup, that has been well documented as I stated Goody took her out IS "Stunned @ the Massive Improvement from this original Dynojet Tune! Now I can say It IS ! Definately A Lot More Responsive than before!!!!
