I was stuck between grabbing the Michelin Road 5's and the Dunlop Road Smart 3's. Has anyone had any experience with these tires?

Only have experience with the Michelin road tires. For some they last quite a while I’ve heard of 10,000 miles from people that do the speed limit everywhere. For me I get around 4,000 miles out of a rear, and the front at that point still looks 80%, but I’ll change both at the same time. As far as grip in wet or dry they are plenty for street use. I’ve never had a loss of confidence even in the cold and I push it often.

Choosing between the Michelin and Dunlop will depend on your individual preferences and riding style. While focusing on wet grip, the Road 5 maintains good dry performance as well, catering to riders who encounter various weather conditions. The RoadSmart 3 offers solid dry grip and stability, making it suitable for riders who prioritize dry road performance.
