I'm tossing up on what Akrapovic full system I'm going to put onto my 2010 ZX14.
The choices I have are:
Evolution Full system - S-K14RFT2T-RC or the
Racing (Open) system - S-K14R2-RC

There is a $700 difference between the Evo and The Racing system on the More Power racing site.
Data from Akrapovic doesn't give details between the two systems, and all sites that sell them use the marketing speak from Akrapovic, so nothing explanatory there either.

So, in essence, does anyone know what are the discerning differences between the two systems, the pros and cons of either if you will.

All answers will be appreciated.

Wiki: "In its unalloyed condition, titanium is as strong as some steels, but 45% lighter"

they usually say Ti Steel. If theyy are not telling the weight dif, I imagine the system is an alloy with plenty of steel. If it is all Ti, I'd pay another 700 for the weight reduction.

Know the post is a bit old but thought I'd throw it out there. I have the Evolution, Titanium system and it weighs just over 6 pounds with c/f muffler. WAY light weight.

I have an Akrapovic Evolution system with the carbon fiber cannister, and it weighed just under 8 pounds with the decibel reducer.

Here is a picture of the Akrapovic Evolution mounted on my 2008:

Installation was easy, everything lined up nicely. Exhaust sound is very quiet at idle and low rpms.
