map

Hi all, Just wondering: I have a 2008 with a Muzzy full system, a K&N air filter and a Dynajet power commander. The bike runs great. Right now, I`m running a map I got from Muzzy when I installed the pipe about 4 years ago. Is there a another map that would make the bike run better? My son has a Ninja 1000 with a Muzzy pipe and he says that his runs better with an Ivans map. Any comments? Thanks, Lou D

Maps are one of those important things that are bike & mod specific. On my 07, I had a custom map, Ivan's, Muzzy's, Dynojet's & a few other. Custom map was the best and made the bike super responsive at any RPM range, only downside was I had to pay to have it made... You have to decide if having a custom map made is worth $200-300, I am guessing not since you have been running the same one for 4 years. I don't know about you, but often when I start fucking around with these projects... By the time I'm done I wonder WTF compelled me to do this... 1-3 more HP?

2015 30th Anniversary Edition 14R #250-> Brock's CT Ceramic Coated, Ivan's ECU Flash V2 & Map, Block off plates, HM Strain gauge quickshifter, GPR Damper, Spiegler lines, Muzzy's Sliders, Pazzo levers, Rizoma Next Fluid Tanks, DDM Ultra 5500K HID's Low & Hi, DB Windscreen, Cox Radiator guard, gold titanium bolts... too many to list at this point
