what would cause a surge at 3500 to 4000 rpm at small throttle openings mostly noticable in 2nd gear. She runs well idles well pulls great. If I ride hard no problems. If I have to ride nice (eg LEO nearby)problem occurs.Sync is perfect plugs are new ,valves adjusted.I've cleared my maps and reloaded, checked my ground.

What all aftermarket stuff do you have that has the potential of affecting your bike? Things like aftermarket exhaust, ECU modifier, i.e. Power Commander/Bazzazz, etc.

Don't know if this has anything to do with your surge...but my buddy's Busa has an Alien head on it...his will surge at idle pretty severe. He's also got a PC on there.
