Looking for parts

Looking for the small little rubber piece that goes into the air box. It also screws in the tank cover. Basically right where your knee would rest.
Also looking for the bottom screws for the lower fairing.
I think i uploaded the photos. Hopefully it worked.

That'a s well nut. You better look in the airbox to make sure the old one isn't bouncing around in there waiting to get sucked into your throttle bodies. If it comes loose, that's where it goes.

You would have found half of it outside the hole. If you tighten them too much they crack in half and the inside goes in the airbox when you remove the screw. The other half has a flange so it would be pretty tough to push that in. The rubber part is all under the fairings. That circular recess is filled with a broad headed cap screw that has a plastic washer under it.

The lowers come loose pretty easy and the two hex head bolts at the back of the fender. The lowers also should have a plastic washer. Use blue LockTite. DO NOT use locktite on the well nut fasteners under any circumstances.

Buy OEM from Partzilla. Or look up the lengths and buy Pro-Bolts aluminum which usually come with plastic washers. PB has well nuts too.

The well nut broke on me so it didn't get sucked into the intake. Thank god!!! I believe I found the well nut on cheapcycleparts. I also found a whole screw kit for $40 on desmoparts.

Thanks for the help

If the two halves were not totally separated and you pulled it out carefully, and you have the end with the brass nut embedded in it, you got the whole well nut. If they break they roll down to the drain trough across the bacl of the air box but it's always possible it could get bounced up and down a throttle body. This is one head scratcher when it comes to the design of the 14.

A note for future reference is that they stock these at many hardware stores and even home centers like Lowes. They are a standard hardware item brand name Well-Nuts:
