Fantastic forum. I have been reading here as a non-member for a little over two years now (and I'm still trying to completely decode Hub-speak by the way), even before I owned a 14. To say I've been obsessed with this bike for a while would be a bit of an under statement. I purchased my atomic silver 08 SE with about 8800 miles on the clock from road track and trail in Wisconsin late summer last year. So far it's been everything I'd hoped for. And I think that says a lot considering I've been drooling since I first saw a buddy's zx11 in the early 90's.

I'm in my 40's and not so mechanically inclined as I'd hoped to be by this point in life, so all the info and advice found scattered about in here is greatly appreciated. You guys are very patient and seemingly always willing to help a guy out. Other forums could learn a thing or two from a visit here. Anyway, I'm sure to ask some foolish newb questions sometime in the near future so I'll just say thank you all in advance for any advice.

Black1, I was reading about the upcoming get together at bear mt. and dreaming about being there with that many 14's on hand. Only 4 or 5 hours from me. Damn! That would be a hell of a thing to see. But of course, as usual with my luck, it all has to match up with the weekend I'm leaving for vaca. I would definitely be able to wave them on though.
