Number 3 leaves a beautiful darkie through the corner and if you look in your mirror you'll see a little puff of tire smoke through there too. Like anything else the first time gets you but with a little practice you become comfortable with it.

I left an amazing darky in my shorts last week when i took off from a light in the rain and spun on a painted crosswalk. I think it will be some years before I am trying to slide around corners on purpose but it sounds like fun.

Here's the same jockey (Jeremy teasley) laying down a 9.0 on a stock wheelbase 14.

I can tell you, I had a 2008 zx14 and rode the BMW about a week ago...stock vs stock the 14 doesn't want any part of the bmw.

=======================================================================================================================

The BMW is just the first of a new wave of liters that are going to be kicking some ZX14 and Busa ass I'm afraid I think its time to think hard about investing in a turbo kit for our bikes....I know mines mostly done

Did some roll ons with my BMW (full akra and +2 in the rear. vs. 08 cbr 1k geared , 08 zx10r pipe and pc -1 +3 gear, 08 hayabusa with akra pipe and geared -1 +2 and the zx14 -1 +4. For all you haters you can figure which bike won.

I took my bike to the local dragstrip and ran it stock height and wheelbase. There was 2 zx14's and a 08 Busa (the one above). They were all slammed and stretched. All of the above riders are within 25 lb's of each other.

The Busa and zx14's won at the dragstrip by about 3/10ths but the trap speed on the BMW was up 4 mph better than the - Busa with a 15 lb lighter rider on the busa. and 5 mph better than the zx14 with pipe, pc, geared and same weight rider.

There really isn't a comparison between the two bikes but inevitably the which one is faster always occurs.

If you are into road racing and roll ons: buy the BMW
If you are a drag racer buy the zx14 or busa.
If you are into comparing dynocharts and peak numbers are for you buy the BMW.

Or simply own them both like I do!

Guys,
Last week, I let one of my track day buddies ride my 14, (183HP/109TQ) and I rode his (stock) RR. I ran the #@*t out of his beemer. No comparison. We both agreed the 14 would have his bike for lunch. BTW, Your milage may vary.
Bike weights were BMW 467lbs. ZX14 502lbs.
Rider weights BMW 220lbs ZX14 160lbs.
