Shower drain is clogged again. I took the long way to the grocery store to pick up some Liquid Plumber. About 70 miles. Got involved with a little friendly competition with a silver busa. Nice looking bike ridden by some dude in his twenties - not wearing a helmet, laces missing from waist band on his jacket flapping in the wind behind him revealing a bit more skin than I wanted to see but oh well.
He passed by on my left nice and easy and waved. He looked like a friendly fella so I figured I'd have to see if he wanted to run some road together. I zoomed by on his right and slowed down to see what he would do as we came up behind some cars. A space opened between the cars and he went through. I waited until there was a safer moment to pass and he waited for me. Soon as I got through he hit it and pulled into my lane. I wasn't going to try to pass not knowing how well this guy rides and other vehicles out on the road. I hung on him though. He zipped around a car and I could see he intended to make a serious break for it. Sure enough, he did. 3rd gear and about 120 miles an hour into a big sweeper knee out and leaned over. I could tell he had taken that corner before. This was the fastest corner I've ever taken leaning that hard. Back onto straight road he turns around to see if I'm still there. Hello! yeah, I'm still here. We headed off down sepparate highways. I almost forgot about that Liquid plumber. I was grinning the whole time I was in the store. I'm still chuckling to myself an hour and a half later. Most fun I've had all summer.
BTW, the 14 is getting a friend pretty soon. Life is full of signs.
