Hey all, I picked up a 2020 ZX14 a couple of weeks ago. I have a good history with Kawasaki and I’ve dreamt of this bike since 2008 when I first test rode one. Back then it scared the crap out of me, I cracked the throttle and saw sky. That day I bought a Concours instead. I rode that Concours for 6 years and put 70k miles on it. I went from that to a Yamaha Raider because I figured I needed to grow up and slow down. I had the Raider for 2 years, I was never really comfortable on that bike. I traded that in for a ninja 1000 and rode that far 3 years. The ninja was good to me but this year my youngest daughter turned 18 and I treated myself to a ZX14. It wasn’t until after I bought it I found out this is the last year they’re making them. Timing is everything. Looking forward to picking your threads apart and seeing what I might want to do. For now I want to ride and pick up a SW Motech mounting kit so I can put my givi bags on. Every sight I look at says 4 to 6 weeks, maybe. Grrrr!
