Grindaz custom paint, has any one done business with them?
10/27/09 11:23 PM

been talking with a rep from Grindaz custom cycle paint. Found them ebay shopping for replacement OE parts for my wrecked baby. Now, not ever knowing of them, have any of you out there heard of this site or any one got work done by them? I really need some feedback on this. trying to make a decision on this by friday. I would be shipping my tank, tank cover, rt upper cowl, front cowl, and rear seat cowl. possible custom airbrush work to be done. and they supply the rest of the parts I don't send in(damaged from wreck). they also are throwing in 2 custom painted helmets with it! quote so far is around $2000 or less. depends on how many good parts are being shipped in.

terrified of getting ripped off with no money left to repair it. got so much more parts and add ons I have plans for if all goes well.

what's the word guys? help me out please......

There's one on here-Blue nosed zx14 with "tear away" silver "flames" rolling back into dark blue or black bodywork. It's in one of the forum header pics up top here.Just click on "home" until you see it on there. He said he wasn't real happy with the finish quality of it-even though everyone here thought it looked awesome.Sorry-can't remember his name now-maybe the administrator(bgordon)can get his name for ya.Or anyone seeing this and recognizing his pic. It's the blue tear away on their website under "customer's bikes".

If you search eBay automotive enough, you will find quite a few different sellers with pre-painted stock cowling sets for sale.

I found a large variety of sets searching "zx14 cowling" once, looking for something else.

Can't speak to the quality, but reading the seller's feedback will give you an idea.

I believe the bike Blue is talking about is zx-twitch I ping'd him on here with no response, but he's on Bikeland. He just moved to Michigan and the trucking company messed up some of the paint.
