My dog did a number on my 14 last year an out of the generousity of Tony and Tim at EvilSwingArms, they auctioned off an arm and donated the proceeds to help me get the bike fixed.
Today, only moments ago ITS ALIVE!
Over the past few months I was able to get from that auction sight harness and sensors that my dog damaged. Upon pulling off the fairings....well Mr. Mouse had made a home and my boy was just trying to evict him. Mr. Mouse also chewed through the coil wires and several others to make room for his home.
The local dealer wanted over $900 for the labor work not including parts. I was able to do myself with the help from Evil Swing Arms and alot of trial and error as this was the most indepth I have ever had on any bike/car anything.
It sounded so sweet when it fired right up the first time I hit the button.......after it came up to temp a few quick rev's to remind me of what a great bike it is and....well made a nice black mark on my concrete basement floor...billows of smoke filled the room....OOOOOYEAHHHHBABY!!!!!!
