Been riding Kawasaki for years..

My first Kaw was a 1974 Z1
My second Kaw was a 1978 Z1R
My third Kaw was a 2004 VN2000
My forth Kaw is a 2013 650 Ninja
Just picked up my fifth Kaw, 2014 ZX-14R
Been loving the Kaws for years. I know little about the 14, but I am ready to learn. The bike I picked up has about 9500 mi. It's missing the stock exhaust and would like to find a replacement. It currently has a Two Brothers Silver Series exhaust. Hoping to find someone that might be interested in a trade. Since I am over the hill, the stock riding position is a bit difficult. Any suggestions to shift to a more upright position would be appreciated. I like in the central Texas area. Also looking for a factory service manual.

Happy trails, I am glad to be here!

Hello, I am also looking at a zx14. 2017 model. Like you Im older. When considering this bike I came across a few inexpensive upgrades that can help with the riding position. First, 1" bar risers. You can find them everywhere for $50 or so. Second would be lowering foot pegs 1". Again you can find them on multiple sights for $50 and on up. Also sitting as close to the tank as possible will help straighten you up a bit. That's about it.

I own a 2008 Triumph Sprint that actually has the perfect sport tour position of any bike I've owned. It also has 1" risers but standard pegs. However, the bike is not fast enough for me so Im shopping.

For a more upright position in a Kawasaki Sport bike the Ninja 1000SX. Smaller and lighter then the zx14.

Question for you. Why do you want to get ride of the two brothers exhaust? There about 1k new for the dual setup.

Cheers

I have stock '13 exhaust, removed with about 1000 miles on them. Complete system, head pipes, collector, mufflers, etc.

I don't really know how much their worth, but I think shipping would probably be pretty expensive.
