Lol even though I was a bit frustrated because I didn't know how to make the bike hook up on a greasy track, I left feeling pretty satisfied with the overall performance of the bike. Can't believe I was a cheap ass last summer and didn't do the Brocks clutch mod...unfuckinbelievable how much better and different the clutch feels and behaves...haven't been back out since, hoping I can find the traction next time...

saying its a "hand clutch" as in trying to pass it off as a stock clutch with springs or something.

Term "HAND CLUTCH" is not a "STOCK CLUTCH"

Hand clutch is any clutch that requires a hand to operate
Stock clutch is what came with the bike from the factory. which nobody has

Slider clutch and Hand slider are a whole different subject just like what some people call " street bikes "

Hand sliders are exactly the same as a true slider with the exception that you can ride a hand slider back from the end of the track. That way they can claim "but.. but.. but... it's a skreet bike mane" Now if your making more than 300 horsepower and you've got a reason to look into something that will hold the power without slipping, then ok. But seriously.... To the guys with 200 horse packages running a slider and trying to race TRUE riders with stock operating clutches..... Please sign up for a drag racing school. Rickey Gadson or Ryan Schnitz can get you headed in the right direction.

carburetors instead of EFI.

Lectrons are on competitive ProStreet bikes.

modern technology has surpassed the hand

That's the american way. Lazy as hell and no shame for taking handouts. Absolutely ZERO respect for anyone riding a slider bike. I'll give some respect to the guy who actually set the clutch up, but that's as far as it goes.

no more Viagra

I'm good with that. I'm guessing you've got some issues?

you sound like Obama .

Na I'm not trying to steal from the rich and hand it out to the self inflicted poor. Redistribution of wealth is fucking communist as it gets.

And I guess your right Bad. Guys just need to get in where they fit in. If you can't ride a bike and don't have the skills necessary to hang with the clutch hand guys, then get in the automatic class and run some other guys on the same level. But don't pull up next to a guy who is actually riding a bike and try to run him with a slider. That's shameful on so many levels.

then get in the automatic class

what class is this dat you speak of and whats the rules and payout and entry fee. I taught I've raced in every class ever invented but this is a new one on me.

I've run bikes ,cars, dragsters, lawnmower, ATV's, jet engines, snowmobiles, foot brake , mod, pro comp, pro et, set, index, arm drop, dialing for dollars, hand clutch challenge, no prep, TNT,

That's the punk ass "street bike" with a slider clutch class. Follow the line of no riding losers to the sign up area. You'll find more talent at a flea circus.

In all my years of racing nobody ever ask me who I beat just did you win. You really need to get over all the hate of the hand slider thing.

true hand clutch

just how true is that hand clutch in your bike .you never had the cover off cause if you put even heavy springs in it that's a mod for better ET .so you be no better than the guy with the slider in my book. so unless you start a Nascar rule book for racing .you got no hand clutch class and beside you would not meet the rules either unless you make the rules . I don't hate because in bracket racing the best equipment don't always win. but you grudge racers are the cry ingest bunch of whiners I ever seen . and that's the worst of it .when it takes 6 months to get 2 racers to a race instead of 6 minutes that's a shame . shit it take 6 minutes to get them to stage after the 30 minute burn out.

I will go all the way back to true stock and be fine with it. Heavy springs and slipper eliminators do NOTHING to help you modulate the clutch correctly. It only minimizes slippage on the big end. Your trying to stipulate but there are TRUE hand clutch classes for TRUE riders out there. The pressure plate must be stock and the clutch throw must be 100% rider controlled. None of the hydraulic slow release systems that some of those guys tried to get away with. But hey, I understand that we are all born with different skill sets. Some guys have to buy a left hand. I will say that I have more respect for a slow hand clutch guy than a slider passenger any day.

What it comes down to is that like it or not the slider clutch takes a MASSIVE part of the drag racing game out of the equation. The rider's ability to modulate the clutch and get the bike moving. This is where the riders can shine. Imagine if Nascar teams devised a way to automatically make the left hand turns perfectly every time. All you have to do is hold the throttle and just be there. Sound familiar?

All I ask from anyone is that if you want to race me then get on my level. Put a clutch lever in your hand that actually works a pressure plate and lets get down. Otherwise... Keep being a passenger on your own bike.

Lol I haven't been to my regular track yet but already I got to hear about three bikes all out of the same camp, that are trying to be the fastest guys there, all more or less blowup within 3 passes on their first day out last weekend...still one more yet to come out that ain't done being built...supposedly a six second motor with in 9 second unmodified chassis buts "it's gonna run sevens easy"...lol...just reminded me of them guys the way Mav was talking about the slider guys...no brains and no talent...

yes I can imagine all the cars would be equipped with it and policed by officials . just like restrictor plates

Heavy springs and slipper eliminators do NOTHING to help you modulate the clutch correctly

anybody with half a brain knows that bullshit just read the package the part came with

I'm not sure if your dense or your just continuing the argument. My clutch NEVER bucked during a launch. The slipper clutch only activates under back torque conditions and therefore has zero effect on launches if you preload the hub/transmission before you leave. I might have picked up 1 or 2 mph from the increased spring pressure.

Are you really saying that this clutch mod is the same as a slider? Hell why use a slider then? Just install the Brock's mod and it's easy! Anyone can go 1.49 60's at stock wheelbase with this mod!

I'm not whining at all. Slider guys can race each other and true riders can race each other. It's pretty simple.

let see if maverick can win $50,000.00 in his back yard with your superior clutch hand this should be taking candy from the babies that can't ride. but I bet you don't even show up much less make a splash. can't wait to hear the excuses

Integrated launch control within the ecu flash is a fantastic upgradeable option now! Thanks to Justin at Woolich and to Nels! Just awesome technology! Power is nothing without control. This feature allows us to simply pull in the clutch fully, engage first gear, hold wide open throttle, and she will only rev to the predermined point, say 4000 rpm as you keep it smashed and dump the clutch! Then it ramps in power over the course of the next 2500ms or as adjusted. All parameters can be tweaked to suit the riders preferences! Absolutely repeatable perfect launches... Every time. Done.

This is top shelf stuff guys. Bravo and mad respect. I would absolutely go nuts with these launch control power ramp settings and really put together a nuclear melt down aggressive ramp for my bike. Give my respect to Nels bro.

So much for that clutch hand or is this the new factory clutch hand

Na track conditions change to much from day to day to get a one size fits all quickest possible launch program. It would be an alternative for street ET guys that don't want to buy a slider and ruin their bike though.

What's up with the $50k race? I'm guessing that's a street ET setup with a 500+ registration minimum? The flyer is a bit vague but I will dig into a bit. Why don't you come down?
