Well,went for a little ADV ride Saturday.Me and 5 other friends of mine decided to check out a few dirt roads and "trails" Northwest of town.We headed to Clark,Wy and hit Linecreek rd.Well that turned into a two-track trail into a 4-wheeler trail than a horse trail.Crossed about 5-6 creeks with nothing but rocks on bothss sides.Got as far as we could before we called it quites.We were trying to get to Red Lodge,Mt.

This was a easy part!!!
.So we headed back down and decided to try an easier road Well it was a lot easier except that it had snowed last week and as we got futher up to the tree line we started hitting more snow.Well the snow turned the road into mud and....


this is as far as we got!!This was Meeteetse trail rd just north on the Mt border.Which does lead into Red Lodge but....we just wanted some pizza!!
So we headed back down and went into Belfry at the Silvertip bar and Casino.

Which serves a 1lb burger called the Colosal Burger...

Everybody but one guy ordered the wimpy's Justin ate the whole thing plus half the fry's!!We did about 170 miles in 5 hours.Pretty tired when I got home!!!Fun trip!

That just looks like a fun trip. How does the KLR650 ride on the road and dirt. I've read and heard they're great for both, but I'm leery of anything that's supposed to "do it all."

The KLR does great.I've probably taken it places where I should have thought twice but it did it.It's a whole different world.Next time your out ridding and see a dirt road just stop and think"I wonder where that goes?"I've been looking to find different routes to places I've already been!!!!
