Could bring my standard 14 though.....ive had it flat out in germany.....and a few other places!
but would be good to blow the cobwebs away..
When is it?

Be careful about flat out wide open extended runs with a turbo. If its not set up for it you can break them pretty easy Talk to somebody who knows turbo's and make sure your bike is tuned and has the right equipment for top end running

Yes and thanks for the info I had the bike flat out in Germany (and other places) many times across europe playing with cars , and actually i did notice that some of the larger German cars on the autobahn are rediculously quick between high and very high speed!
I still managed to smoke them though.......what would you expect!
Interestingly something i did come across which i have never had before was that after the two days blast I returned back to the uk and used the bike for work the following week.
The tyres were sliding all over the place, obviously the sustained heat and high speed had ended up curing the tyres to the point of having gone blue and lost grip.!I am meticulous in the way I check tyres for pressure, damage and faults in the tyres on this type of run, anyway i junked them the next week and fitted new, service returned to normal after that! So if you end up planning one of these trip budget for some new rubber after it!
The turbo bike is my second bike (i have two 14s at the moment)and am selling the normally aspirated one.
like you say wot and the piston crown on the inlet valves is a problem......ill map it very safe and take ignition out at the top end making sure lambda is at 11.7 or so above 5k or so im going to leave it a bit leaner on small throttle openings to try and keep some sort of economy and looking at the petrol situation in the uk and abroad i think im going to leave it at 6psi. Should still go ok at that dont you think?

Very good game plan Andy You're teaching me a thing or two lol. We don't have the chance to do the kind of high speed riding in the U.S. that you do in Europe....it must be fun I can't imagine going that fast for so long you cooked your tires on your turbo 14...........thats some serious fun I'm going to need to pull some timing on my turbo as well, I'm just not sure if I want to spend the big bucks on an SB6 or just use a Muzzy adjustable ignition rotor. I'd rather not pull timing all across the board, but I'm not too keen on spending another 500 bucks for yet another electronic gadget lol. These turbo's can get spendy
