It sounds like you have a strong case. Let your lawyer do her stuff sit back. Don't try to guide the situation. Sounds like there is no issue of child support so really, nobody will loose all that much here. Sounds like a clean break will be made and you both get on with life.

Geez...sorry things have been so...well...fuc%$#.You don't sound brain damaged to me at all...your writing is fine....time....you'll be okay. That divorce thing...what a bunch of bs.I'm sorry you're going through all that after all you've been through already.Be careful on your bike...okay?Good therapy or not....just be mindful of how you're feeling as you ride.We don't want you losing it all. You're apparently healing fine...for what you experienced...so go easy. There's no rush. The other deal....TRY to let it go...as much as possible.I mean....try not forget it's probably a blessing in disguise...though it doesn't seem like that now most likely. You'll be fine.Keep yer chin up and take care of YOU.That's what's important here...YOU...and that aint being selfish either.I'm glad you survived that stuff...there IS a reason for it all....you'll see it if you don't already.Hang in there buddy....be good to yerself and keep looking up no matter what.

Sounds like a concussion to me...just give it time...it'll be okay.May take over a year...possibly...but don't quit on yerself. You'll heal up just fine...

Thank you for your support one and all.

Grn14 all salient points in your last reply. Its been a few months now since she left and believe it or not I have come to the conclusion that with all the stuff she has done since the break up (stirring up shit with the mother of my kids when I wouldn't give her what she wanted and hanging me out to dry on a car loan she hasn't paid in months that I have co-signed for in happier times), has actually made it EASIER to move on with things. I'm living in a share house which sucks but its the best I can do right now), and have met a great lady named Sarah who is a high school maths teacher. I took her for a ride last weekend for breakfast on beryl (Dads 86 BMW R65) and over breakfast she said that she understands my passion for riding. I told her that was a good start.

Thanks to her lady ship's meddling, I haven't seen my kids now since boxing day and telephone contact with them is at its best sporadic, but I am keeping another lawyer employed sorting that out, but I will get there. I will deal with the problems one egregious bitch at a time.

Mean while, exciting news, Im finishing up rehab, and hope to return to work.

Im looking forward to having something more productive to do with my time.

OZ

You are well ozjohnno. Approach every new day like the fresh start it is and be thankful for all you have been blessed with in your yesterdays. Love those kids. I can tell you, they know you love them and they WILL give it all back. They figure it all out one day (like we did). They grow up into adults quickly and they will make their own choices.

RE: PO PO
03/29/13 11:44 AM

A beautiful day called in March and I took a sick day to spend some time with my PJ (pride and joy). Leaned into a left corner turn and opened her up in a posted 60. A scan down an abandoned street confirmed my hope that the PO PO would not be tagging as most folks were at work. I passed a cop somewhere in the 180km range and he lit me up. I crested a hill and pulled to the side and waited. By some act of faithful intervention the cop flew right by me. I collected my helmet and continued riding. I returned home to find the officer in my driveway. A summons to appear later and a hefty retainer to the local solicitor assisted me in walking away. I had just moved into a new house and was getting aquainted with the neighbours. It was lovely to get cuffed and put in the rear of the squad car while my neighbour (mouth gaping open) watched from his curtain drawn window.

It is a great story, there are some bizzar details I left out (to protect the innocent), but yeah, I got plunked in the back while posing for a photo op with the neighbours. Adding fortune to misfortune, as soon as I got out of the back, my wife rounded the corner with my son in the car seat. She asked me how my day went, and I said interesting...
Glad you enjoyed my creative non-fiction...
