july of 2009 I was in for a two hour ride at night. I hit interstate and its after 1230 and I kick up the speed. so for about 20 mile had the speedo set at 120 since no state troopers out after 1230. then got off on another 4 lane rode speed limit was 65 but I will still feeling it from the last rode I had the bike about 80ish not really paying attention to my speed and the road. pass a bridge and there is a SUV sheriff in the ditch sitting in a pile of weeds. I think either he comes after me or he says not worth the chase. just I am almost out of view He is finally pulling out of the ditch. I takes him 5 miles to catch up to me. No cars on the road just me and him. but I pull over before he puts on his lights. I pull off and turn off the bike. sit and wait for him to come up to me before getting off the bike or do anything. the sheriff talks to me like a human-being. he clocked me doing 84 in 65 but knocked it down to 75 in a 65. now that I look back I should have kick up the speed again and left him the in dust and then taken an exit and been gone but I did the better thing I think.

sheriffs here dont carry , so depending on where we are or what kinda car they are in, depends on if we stop

Sheriffs stop you all over the place in WI. and they usually write a ticket too I'm told.

I'd say so. He was waiting to see if you were going to run. Prolly had lazer on you while in pursuit. Coulda been a lot worse, snakeman. My philosophy is "if you can see they are following, don't run."

had a few close escapes in my earlier days, closet one was i had got home and got bike behind front wall and listened to them whizz past, problem was they went back to the bar they saw me leave and got my name.. we had an informal chat in the station eventually, full of denial and threats : )

I got a ticket last night, 40 in a 25 he knocked it down to 35 in a 25.
Here 1-10 over won't go on your record for insurance to see.
He had my ass to never even saw him, he was in a parking lot
divided by an 8ft fence $144 bucks I remember when it was like $35.

Case in point, I got two tickets and my insurance is sky high, they are both 10 overs. Ontario Canada hates bikes man. Anyone who has tried to insure in the igloo nation will attest to this trident fact.
