unless I'm doing something dum (a distinct possibility!) it actually doesn't work. See the pic below: The 17 mm section that's in front of the 22 mm section is too big to fit inside the hollow axle tube and therefore prevents the 22 mm section of the adapter from actually going in far enough to engage the axle nut.

You must have removed a front wheel more recently that I have. Like I said, I haven't done it for some time. Thanks for the correction.

Might be worth trying the Motion pro tool in the axle rather than the axle nut. Sorry I can't remember but I would trust extrap on this one.

It could be the Hayabusa that I used the Motion Pro axle socket on. Again, can't remember clearly.
