While I love my CBR1000RR on the track and in the mountains, getting there and anywhere else more than an hour a way is torture.
For many years (while single, yes!), I had a sport-touring bike for trips. Some people suggested getting a Spiegler handlebar conversion kit for my sport-bike, but that would ruin it for the track.
So, I'm considering a ZX14R with the conversion for my touring bike.

No doubt, the mountains would be almost as much fun when I got there and I'd certainly feel more ready to ride once I arrived!
I'll be looking for opinions about this option.
