How long do tires last with normal riding?

Depends on what you mean by normal. My guess if you rode real easy (like a moped) you could get 5k miles out of something like Metz M5s. If you do any aggressive stuff, cut that 20%. If you ride aggressively frequently cut that in half. If you do burn outs... don't do burn outs.

My stock M5s went about 4400 miles to the wear bars and that was moderate riding. I put Q3s on that, and riding more aggressively they were done in 2500 miles. I put M7RRs on after that, and they are officially spent as of today and that's about 3400 riding about the same as the Q3s.

Next I'm trying Bridgestone S20R Evos with a 55 rear, got the tires mounted just need to install the rims.

When I got my 2008 the PO had put 2K miles on the bike. The rear tire was bald and the front was nearly so. But they are crappy tires in my opinion. I replaced them with Michelin PR3's and they seem to be holding up a lot better.

My PR4's are holding up nicely. On my 14 so far.I ride 'kind of' aggressively 'sometimes'...but I've dialed it back a notch over the last few months.Mainly on straights.65-70...

Ditto
On the original bridgestones I only got 4000kms, that includes the breaking in period. Angle gt have got 6000kms and still have lots of tread. Shape is also good, no flat spot in the middle.
That's from a mixture of riding conditions from medium to aggressive breakfast runs to mountain passes and highway driving as well as town driving.

Life begins at 40.......The fun starts at 240.
Now riding 2014 ohlins ZZR 1400, Z 750, GPZ1100ZX, ZZR1100, Hayabusa, GSXR1000, 2009 ZX14 special edition.

My stock tires lasted 2,000 miles. They were shot.
I hope to get 3,000 out of my PR4s.

Let's roll
