full synthetic when?

Hub[or anyone]..after the first service,at what mileage point can you switch to full synthetic oil in the ZX-14?

My dealer/mechanic/friend said run three Dino oil changes,then switch to full syn 10/40.Mine runs great with no burning or adding in between changes.37,800 miles trouble free.

my third change i went to synthetic. rule of thumb is wait till after break in

Personally, I'd ride the bike well beyond break in. The improvement might not be that big of a deal to you so why risk switching too soon? I tried Repsol full synthetic and it was like normal oil after 500 miles. have stuck to conventional ever since.
