Backward

I accidentally jumpered my battery to my bike backward. Whatever happened, I get NOTHING when I turn the key on now. What have I done? I hoked it up '-' to the Red lug, and '+' to the frame. Now when I turn the key on I get NOTHING. What do I look at first?

I'd say main fuse but would check all of them.

JK

please let us know what you discover. I'll bet it is fine. That is too easy of a mistake to make without there being some sort of failsafe.

Look for the 30A fuses... Remove seat, near the back look around. Green fuse I think is for 30A.

Yeah, I went to the 30 amp main fuse in the battery compartment first. I pulled it out and metered it. It was good. That was why I found it so surprising. I expected it was the main fuse. When it waasn't, and I was striking out on everything else I could think of, I came in the house and posted the question. I went back out and started following the voltage, and then realized that what I thought was the main fuse, was actually a spare fuse on the front of the main fuse holder. Presto! When I popped the cap off the real main fuse, I found it was toast. I had another 30A fuse in a box and that was the end of that. Thanks for the help fellas!
