and didnt go to jail or get a ticket,after reading the other guys story I had to throw mine in the ring too.
I was riding home 4:30 am doing over 125 the freeway was clear cept for few vehicles and when I exited I could see a car coming up on me fast so I held my throttle at 70 till I got to a hard right turn where I could look over my shoulder and see "POLICE" at which point I pulled over before he could light me up. When he got out of his car and came up to me he asked "do you know how fast you were going?" I said yes i do but the question is do YOU know how fast I was going? I said it in a laughing manner not at him but at the situation. He tells me I had to do over 125 MPH just to catch up to you then I asked well how does your car feel at over 125MPH? he kinda laughs and says like a frigging tanks! long story short he admits to "hearing me haul ass on the freeway" but only clocking me at 70 in a 40 on the service road= no ticket have a good night get some sleep!

there are some REALLY cool leo's. I've met some of the cool ones and some of the real assholes! The way you present yourself has alot to do with which one you'll be talking to.

True dat, last two times I was pulled over I was clearly in violation and they let me go anyway. One was a motorcycle cop and he stayed around to talk bikes with me for a few minutes....really cool guy! I am always very respectful to police officers and non-threatening, makes a huge difference in how they react to you.

Only a handful of bike cops here and even less amount of cool LEO's in my area it seems, unfortunately.

i have no use for the LEO's ..

I got a ticket on 287 in Ennis the other day (I was in my truck). Cop give me a ticket for doing 74 in a 65. The speed limit was actually 55 though so I guess he give me a little break. I was really nice to the guy and he was reasonable. A little embarassed to tell this but I had to run from the cops. Me and my son inlaw was on 99 the Grand Parkway in Baytown the other day. Him on his GSXR 1100 and me on the 14. This guy pulls up next to me in a dodge truck haha. He was reving the engine and so on. So I take off and run it up to 150 or 160 and then back down to my normal 70 or 80 my son inlaw right with me. Next thing I know this guy is passing people on the damn shoulder trying to catch up with me. I open it back up to about 175 or 180. I left my son inlaw the dude in the truck and every body else. Then I pass a cop going the other direction. I just pin it for about 2 or 3 miles until I had to make my first turn onto the interstate. I drove home and waited on my son inlaw. He said he was going about 140 and the truck was staying with him and not slowing down so he did just before the cop. He said the cop went through the ditch and turned around. The cop came by him and caught the truck. Pulled the truck over and thats the last I heard. Scared the shit out of me. All I could think about was a felony evading jail sentence my bike dangling off the tow truck and the loss of my license. I normally wouldn't do this kind of thing but I was on a fairly new long and straight road that I am very familliary with. Still was pretty stupid but what a rush. So I guess the ticket I got the very next morning in Ennis was not all that bad. Sambeax be careful on 99 they have been on the prowl.

Hey Kruz this was northbound 35 after I exited frankford and was on the service road. This guy was alright most times I just pull right over and wait for them

I don't know what he had under the Hood but it was fast. I guess my son inlaw could have been lying to me.

I would not be bragging or laughing at the law, man up take your medicine or grab a hand full and roll on and peg the limiter in 6th.

I made the 400 mile round trip to MI to visit me mum this weekend. Lots of po South of GB. I was slowing down to pace the traffic ahead of me on a corner and there on the opposite side of the median was a cop on the roadside. I always thought a cop on the opposite side of a median was only interested in the vehicles on their side. Wrong.

A minute later this guy had gotten on my side of the road and behind me. Fortunately, I had maintained a steady 70 mph behind the car ahead of me. I honestly never expected a cop on the other side of the road would come after me. After I noticed him tailing me a for a miniute, he spun the lights and I pulled off. He said I was "going a little fast around that corner back there" and he just wanted to run my lic and let me go on my way. That's all that happened. It took about 3 minutes. If he would have gotten a radar on me around that corner, I don't think it would have gone so well for me. Maybe he decided to let it go since I wasn't trying to worm through traffic at that speed.

Just another wake up call for everyone. Consider me bright eyed and bushy tailed.

How often do you guys get stopped without getting ticketed? I'm 2 for 0. 2 stops in 3 seasons, no tickets.
