temp gauge flashing high low will not start

I was riding my bike casually today and I went to get on it a little harder and it stalls out I let go of it it rides fine so I when to my buddies house and cut it off and let it sit for about 30 mins when I go to leave the bike wouldnt start the temp gauge is flashing 2 high 2 low and sounds like fuel pump is not running at all. I really need some advice and opinions on what the problem may be. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, that sounds like a bad battery. Go out and buy a new battery and all should be good.

Check the 15 AMP ECU fuse under the seat.

Battery or check your radiator

Reviving this old thread! Was there ever a solution to this problem? This is basically the same thing my bike is doing?

Could definitely be the battery.Weird stuff happens when she's lost a charge.Seems odd though that it wouldn't be charged if he rode it for any distance.That's an Idea though MRE...maybe look at the voltage display on yours?

If it had a bad cell...then it most likely would be losing charge as fast as it was getting charged,certainly could drop off sitting any length of time.Even 30 minutes.You have some voltage going to the clock...

this happen to me today and its so simple to fix

one 15 amp ECU fuse under the seat by the ECU and rear blinker
