Been hard to get a ride in lately , but managed to get a 1ST run in the hills on the H2 . Well ,bike is now even more snappy on the throttle , this was traction control off , and the power spread is now wild . Weekday traffic , and was thicker this day than usual , but got to favorite section on this ride unscathed . Here I got to experience that addictive boost rush , with some really smooth flowing corners , surprised again at how well that front end responds and the feedback to rider . Pic , parked up for quick rest , then back home for lunch .

Thinking this winter will be the time for fitting all the kit up .

Hi Rook , I am still waiting on the rims , ordered and paid for 17th October '23 , and been told they were ready to send twice so far ....Bought 5 sets with this set coming , thinking if I do go another set of carbon wheels , I will now try another company like Rotobox .
Antway , on a much more positive note , I went and inspected a 2015 H2 with only 86km on it , last Sunday , it is absolutely mint , a great barn find , so I bought it . Should be arriving this Friday . I will need to de moth ball it and injector clean , new oil and filter etc. I got a bit of a list of bits coming for it , but a new pipe will be ordered next week . I will be most likely making this 2015 my big power example , and the 2023 the mint streeter . Pic of the initial inspection and deposit visit .

Two H2s now, Toad!!!! That is the kind of decadence I like!!! It's completely up to you mate but I would try to make the two more different in appearance. How about going with carbon fairings like Grn's H2? Or I would like to see it painted blue with yellow fins. Now that would be different!

I was not sold on that pipe Akra made for the H2. I'm sure it sounds good and it has to be a lot lighter than stock but I don't care for the shape. I'd like to see something that just goes past the footpeg maybe 6 to 8 inches behind. What I'd really like to see is a couple of headers peaking out on each side up front slash cut flush with the fairing. Of course, you want to go with what will make the best power and I'll bet the header design plays a significant role in that.

As for wheels, Rotobox looks best on smaller bikes in my opinion. They're very unusual looking but they have grown on me. Heck if I had two H2s, I'd go with a set of Rotoboxes!

Congratulations on the new bike Toad! I can't wait to see what crazy things you do with it. It sounds like you might be willing to push the bounds in the horsepower department. You always have your backup if the 2015 blows up!!

Hi Rook , yes , I was really happy to find this 2015 model ,in as new condition , and in my home town . I am still deciding what H2 will get what parts etc. but the 2015 will be the big HP of the 2 , once it is fitted with the parts I have ready . But , that will happen a little later on now , first , I will run it in and fit another Vandemon Ti pipe and get the Woolich tune to match . Then I hope to get more rides in on both H2 , while I continue fitting detail parts etc. The bikes will be different in some ways , but will share the proven components that are known to perform the best on H2 . I might fit a bit of carbon on 1 bike , but we will have to see , as I have not fully decided yet . I originally was not a big fan of the H2 wheels , but over a time , they have certainly grown on me , and I now really like them , as they truly suit the whole H2 look . I plan on keeping one of my H2 to remain fitted with these wheels , again , which one will be decided later on . i will keep you posted my friend .

I always liked the look of the stock H2 wheels. They went with something snazzy to show off the single sided swing arm and I really like it. BST Rapid Techs would retain the look somewhat and shed a lot of weight. I was going to get a set of Rapid Techs for the busa.
