Hi, I'm from England, and have a 2007 US imported ZX14R Ninja (ZZR 1400 over here).

It's always been reliable and never not started. She's kept clean and well serviced, only 18000 miles at the moment.
I have the secondary butterflies removed and a Power Commander III fitted, with K&N air filter and Quill carbon cans.
Been running like that for over a year no problems.

I went out to her this morning to go to work, the dashboard showed FI ERROR and the bike wouldn't start.
The starter turned over strongly but she just refused to fire up.
I turned the power off and on a few times and nothing, same again, would not fire up.
Ran out of time this morning and had to abandon her and use my other bike to work this morning.

So, how do I check fault codes?
Does anyone have a list of what the codes relate to?
Is there any common faults / causes / fixes?

To access the codes:

•Turn the ignition switch ON.
•Push the MODE button and RESET button for more than two seconds.
•The service code is displayed on the LCD by the number of two digits.

•Any of the following procedures ends self-diagnosis.
-When the service code is displayed on the LCD, push
the MODE button and RESET button for more than two
seconds.
-When the ignition switch is turned OFF.
