if u mean the stuff for cars then yea...i use it in mine and its pretty good, seems to keep the engine running smoother and the oil comes out looking the same like it went in, thats most likely because of the color it has in the first place lol, never tried it on bikes, i know a couple guys that use the cycle specific one for bikes and they love it

Thanks RC-ordered some and gonna see how it performs. The guy at Royal Purple said it would work fine-natch.But yeah,I've heard good things about it including some reports about shear strength and stuff-it was in the top couple for quality.

Went for most likely my last ride of the season today.35 degrees out.But NO rain or snow.It was a very good ride-nothing extreme-just having a good time. The Royal Purple 10/40w is VERY VERY good so far.Shifting was smooth and my motor sounded happy.14's just rock-and I really can't say enough about the Map from Jeffo.Bike's running better than I ever thought it could.Just great.Suspension settings are working good-tightened my front preload down some more-to one bar showing(with the "very top" bar showing as well).Solid and smooth. No dive.Think I'll probably leave the rear preload alone.Maybe next year install some stiffer springs up front and a perhaps a new stronger spring for the rear?As is-best bike I ever owned.27,946 miles on er.Two riding seasons now.I'm REALLY glad I bought my 14.Just turned 56.New Pirelli Angel ST's gonna go on come Spring.Life is good-hope all our soldiers away in those dangerous spots will come back safe and sound-God Bless America-best place on Earth!!!God Bless all you guys and your families as well!!!Thanks again BGordon for keepin this site up and running!!And all you that have offered help in this forum-THANKS!We own the Classic-the BIG NINJA!

my brother in law has always ran shell rotella 15-40 synthetic in his '04 650 v-strom and has 61,000 trouble free miles. so i know it works pretty good and isn't a high dollar oil compared to some. he said it used a little oil between changes (not enough to have to add more) till he had around 30,000 miles on it but uses even less now. he changes it around the 7500 mile mark. i ran the castrol syntec 5-50 in my zx14 for 7500 miles last time too. wasn't even starting to look nasty when i drained it and didn't have to add any between changes. i have had no clutch slipping problems and have pulled at least 1000 60-100 mph 2nd gear wheelies using the clutch. i agree with blue07. i am 48, have owned over 35 bikes and the zx14 is the best so far. just wish it was a dual sport. btw blue07, i'm runnin' low on my viag's this month. only 25 or 30 left. could you help out a brother with a few till the first of the month?

It looks like If you are not runnin the AMZOIL the Mobil 1 is the stuff to use in your bike. I am thinking mobile 1 over AMZOIL. AMZOIL came up with the test, think about it!

To much to list!

I dont think you can go wrong with either or (amsoil or Mobil 1 4t Synthetic. I use Amsoil in my quads because I can get it in 0w40 which works great for year around protection but tend to use Mobil 1 in my bikes because it is easier and cheaper to get with about the same quality.
