Which forum for turbo discussion?
12/30/23 3:03 AM

Hi guys, I love this forum but it can be very hard to get replies, is there another zx14 forum where more active users go? Particularly for turbo bikes?

Where did Romans and Fordtech58 go?

Cheers

Aloha OZ, I'm still here and I did read your initial plan post and really didn't know how to respond. With the mileage you have on the 06 I believe it's a recipe for disaster. Usually when they fail they become a paper weight and can't be salvaged. My bike is a 2015 and it's a track bike only so what works for me wouldn't apply to your application. I totally understand the wanting to save money and be hands on but being a drag racer since 1974 I can't tell you how many times I've spent $1000 trying to save $500! I'd strongly suggest an RCC kit and you do the install on a fresh motor with a few minor mods and you'll be safe and happy for miles of boosted smiles. I'll try to answer any questions you have if I can. Good luck, Rick B...

Hey mate, I tried to send you a PM but your name didn't come up, I thought you were gone. Are you still racing the silver 14?

I want to get the explorative learning done on the old motor then start fresh with a forged build and some knowledge up our sleeves.

Can I pm you or email? PM it to me if possible.

Cheers
