Hey guys. New to the zx14 and new to the forum. I am looking to buy used slip-ons for my bike. Some folks are telling me 08-11 slip-ons fit the 12+ gen 2. If this is true, why do the same exhausts have different part numbers regarding 08-11 and 12+?

The stock cans are different from the G1 to G2. Not 100% sure but I think the aftermarket slips are different also. If an aftermarket vender like Yoshimura lists different that should clue you
