If you have aftermarket levers, check that they're installed correctly and the bushing is cleaned and lubed.

Check the clutch pack height. I guess you already did that.

Stiffer springs don't make the lever all that much harder. I have what I think is about the tightest you can get, Adams HD. You might get more tension with Brocks spacers. Adams was recommended to me.

Sounds like?... Two syllables... Hear (pun) me out. Story time so I can correlate it to you. We have the track to ourselves, we are shaking down a bike for a race. Test rider with a lot of years racing doing the shaking down, we hear the engine spin up and the mountain kind of echoed it. The both of us at the same time say 'wheel spin' (or something to that effect). As the bike hits the straightaway, I'm listening for the 'spin up' of the engine breaking loose coming down the straights... nada.

He comes in and the debrief was his mentioning of the clutch slipping. Crew chief clued him in.

So if the ear on this end is still tuned to an engine note, at that point of peak rpm slip, and then blended in making it to 214mph; are the two syllables = 'No Slip' [of the clutch] that is.

That's some nice smiles per hour there you have under you, pred.

Eureka!! If your tachometer jumps and so does the speedo, it's wheel spin! If the engine speeds up but the speedo doesn't, that's a slipping clutch.

I have a new 2023 14R with less than 2K miles and my stock clutch slipped horribly in 5th gear between 9K-11K RPM when rolling to 100% throttle from a very low RPM. I was surprised that since it's new that it would show signs of slipping so early on in its life. I have a full brocks exhaust, ecu flashed, sprint filter and running 16/44 sprocket combo. It seem that the stock clutch pack isn't up for the task once you open the bike up with just simple bolt on mods. Also it's rare that one would ride in the manner whereas opening the throttle up at a low RPM in 5th gear and chop the throttle to 100 percent to run it to redline where this problem exists and exhibited itself. For the first 2K miles I've been running, shall I say, as one would normally ride a bike and I wouldn't have known that my clutch was slipping way up there if I didn't have this long desolate road that was begging for me to run her in 5th gear. This is when I first noticed the 5th gear slippage....no other gear but 5th gear or maybe 6th but I wasn't;t brace enough to find out if 6th gear was slipping...LOL

Anyway, I ended up purchasing a aftermarket clutch pack and installed it and now no more slipping in the higher gears/RPMs. I checked the steels and fibers from the stock clutch pack and there were no signs of wear, however, when I stacked the aftermarket clutch pack up against the stock clutch pack, the aftermarket clutch pack was definitely higher/thicker than the stock clutch pack. BTW...I run Mobil 4T racing oil and I don't think this would've caused the stock clutch to not hold up under hard acceleration in 5th gear.

Syn made my clutch slip. Pred, you said you just changed the oil? Was it syn? Leave it in. I just never [forced] it to break the pack loose again for a few hundred or so miles, Nailed it and the the slip was gone.
