I need to replace this cover due to oil leaking(tiny crack)sipping oil out.Anyhow I just ordered the pulser cover and the o ring,do I need an special sealer to be apply in the o ring area before putting the screws back??

You're right, even the dealership that repaired the bike did not see that hairline crack,which was a result of the downside story (new back tire).THe plastic's foam were absorbing all that oil coming from the pulser leak until they got satured and started spraying the exhaust,frame an my shoes.Anyhow keep us post it with all your advances and once again thanks for all the help you give us

im about to replace the pulser cover as well..is it a easy install? looks straight forward..

is a piece of cake to install,remember that you have to remove the bottom cowl fairing
